Review of protocols and guidance related to COVID-19 for the events industry
Our industry’s recovery from COVID-19 will require the collaboration and participation of all event stakeholders with guidance from expert authorities. Join us for this one-hour panel discussion with representatives from the Events Industry Council (EIC), International Labour Organization (ILO), World Health Organisation (WHO) and World Travel and Tourism Council to learn about tools and resources from each of these global organisations related to COVID-19 and events. The panel will focus on reviewing risk assessment guidance and health and safety recommendations to protect workers, participants, event organisers and other event stakeholders.

Learning objectives:

• Receive an update on the global impact of COVID-19
• Learn about tools and resources to assess risk factors and about protocols to improve health and safety during travel and at events
• Learn how to assess and manage occupational hazards related to COVID-19 and indirect risks related to mental health effects
