The Incentive Travel Industry Index (ITII) is a joint initiative of SITE, FICP and IRF, 3 associations for whom incentive travel is a key focus. With Oxford Economics as research partner, in 2019 ITII received more than 2500 submissions from over 100 countries around the world.
Join SITE Foundation trustee, Hamish Reid, for a filtered evaluation of the 2019 results from the perspective of Europe and the two major source markets there, Germany and Great Britain. Brought to you by SITE Foundation, this presentation uses the rich ITII dataset to sketch out a compelling picture of the similarities and interesting differences between incentive travel in Europe and North America, the two areas of the globe where it is most in use.
By the end of this session, participants will:
1. Understand the subtle and not so subtle variations in the planning and execution of incentive travel programmes in Europe versus other regions;
2. Understand the priorities for EUR buyers when it comes to contracting with destinations and destination suppliers for incentive travel programmes;
3. Understand what programme inclusions are important for successful incentive travel programmes in Europe.
