Older adults living in senior housing face unique bio-psychosocial challenges that can impact their ability to age in place. As the older adult population in Los Angeles County increases in number, it is imperative that they be connected to resources that address specific vulnerabilities around the aging process and improve their quality of life. This workshop/webinar will focus on a successful partnership and collaboration between the Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA), and the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (LACDMH) and its service providers working with older adults in senior public housing developments. This project won a NACCED 2018 Award of Excellence.
